Along with traditional families, we have broken families and blended families and single-parent families. Each brings its own special issues. A "Mary" Christmas To All

Christmas time is visiting time. It is appropriate that this weekend's Gospel passage should recount Mary's Visitation to Elizabeth, the second Joyful Mystery of the Rosary. After the Angel Gabriel's visit, Mary thought not of herself but of her cousin, who was awaiting the birth of John the Baptist. Mary's visit is a model for our visits.
